Orlando Section Membership Development Report - August 24, 2012

The number of active members at all grades in the Orlando Section increased from 1339 on July 21, 2012 to 1363 on August 18, 2012.

A comparison with the totals for August 21, 2011 shows a year-over-year increase of one in Orlando Section membership; significant year-over-year losses among Associate Members, Life Members, and Members; significant year-over-year gains among Affiliates, Graduate Student Members, Life Seniors, Senior Members, and Student Members.

The month-over-month decreases in "Student"-grade memberships are due to IEEE HQ transfering imputed graduates to "Member" grade.  

From July 23, 2012 through August 13, 2012, 15 new members joined the IEEE in the Orlando Section: 1 Member, 8 Graduate Student Members, and 6 Student Members. Please reach out and welcome these new IEEE members. Their names appear on the attached list of new IEEE members to the Orlando Section with contact information.

From July 28, 2012 through August 8, 2012, 10 active IEEE members moved to the Orlando Section: 3 Student Members and 7 Members. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to the Orlando Section.  Their names and contact information are shown on the attached list.

The number of Members in Arrears for 2012 from the Orlando Section is 286, as of August 18 2012.  The current list of Members in Arrears is attached to this report.  Please reach out to lapsed members you know to encourage their membership renewal.

A record of the  MD webcast, scheduled for August 2012, was not available at the time of this report .
